Our Mission
The mission of OND is to create a community that works together to inform, educate, design, build and invest in projects with a vision of realizing the full potential of Web3.

OND is classified as a Social DAO. Social DAOs are social groups based on the blockchain that serves as a place where community members can meet others with similar interests. It’s similar to member-exclusive clubs, but online, with access to a community governed by a smart contract.

OND is envisioned as a place for people to learn about Web3 through immersion and participation. It is a private, safe, members-only space where we work together to advance our understanding and expertise by sharing ideas, knowledge, experiences, and best practices, and by bringing these ideas to a larger audience of crypto-curious people.

This DAO is private because we want to curate the membership to ensure we have the right people in the community, it’s safe because we want to encourage people to ask “dumb” questions and not feel judged for doing so, and it’s membership-based because we want to create a sense of purpose and belonging.

We believe that Web3 is the next, most important technological moment and potentially the single most disruptive and exciting time to be thinking about the future of the Internet, connected technologies, and the transformative impact they will have on business and the world as a whole. Web3 is the new Internet and with it comes a new lexicon of words, language, and protocols. Everything is new, nascent, and incredibly difficult to decipher and understand. The founders of OND have discovered that while the learning curve is steep, the only way to gain a depth of understanding that is meaningful is through participation.
